Take a domestic flight to Aswan which is considered the origin Chakra. Enjoy a relaxing day tour of Aswan to the temple of Philae. In the granite quarry of the city, lying the giant obelisk. It is called the Unfinished Obelisk because it was never erected. It would have measured about 137 feet (42 meters) if completed and is estimated to weigh around 1164 tons. Continue sailing on the Nile and visit this is a unique temple of Kom Ombo. The temple was dedicated to two Egyptian Deities: Horus with the falcon head and Sobek with the crocodile head. The temple has two entrances, one for each of the two gods. The temple is beautifully located on a high mound. This location gives the visitor the chance to enjoy the view of the Nile. Today you will visit the archeological site of Abydos. The site is always famous for being the cult of Osiris and Isis. It is also the place for many temples and tombs. Touring the site of Abydos, visitors will have the chance to see the major attractions there such as the temple of Osiris, the temple of Seti I, and the temple of Ramses II. You will visit the main attractions in the company of your Egyptologist guide who will tell you the history of the temples and explains the walls and columns reliefs. The temple of Dendera was dedicated to the goddess Hathor, the goddess of maternity and love. The temple is distinguished with its well-preserved wall paintings and ceilings, its wide and huge entry, and detailed carvings. Many pieces of evidence show that there were many religious structures that go back to the Old and New Kingdoms that reflect the holiness of the area. Discover the magic of Giza city and explore the famous Giza pyramids area and Sphinx. You will start visiting the symbol of Eternity and the only wonder that still survives among the seven wonders of the ancient world, the Great Pyramid of Cheops(Khufu). It is certainly one of the most important monuments of ancient Egypt. A masterpiece of fabricated structure and architecture, you will be overwhelmed by the huge size of its blocks, the height, and the age that exceeded 4600 years. While you stare at this great monument, your guide will explain fully the history of all the area including the other pyramids, of Chephren and Mycerinus, answer all your questions and give you free time for photography. You will have the chance to take pictures of the area including all the pyramids from the panorama area.). You will spend more than four hours in the area so that you will have enough time to enter the great pyramid chamber. You may like to have fun and explore the edge of the desert by having a camel ride around the area. From inside the Valley temple, we will enter a shortcut to the Sphinx. Moving to the Sphinx area where you will spend some time exploring this monolith statue, which symbolizes the power and wisdom of the pharaoh as the statue, was carved as a lion body and the head of the pharaoh. Next to the Sphinx area, you will visit the valley temple where you will learn about mummification in ancient Egypt.
Explore the treasures of the Egyptian museum (opened in 1902) and look at amazing monuments and artifacts in its different halls on a guided tour. Following the visit to the museum, you will go to the citadel of Saladin and the Alabaster mosque. Drive to the old section of Cairo where you will pass by the highest mountain in Cairo. The fort of Saladin was built on a cliff of this mount for protecting the city against the Crusaders. In 1830 Mohamed Ali, the king of Egypt ordered to build the Alabaster Mosque inside the citadel. You will go inside the mosque to see its main components and learn about the Islamic pillars. Aside from its huge size and exquisite beauty, one of the beautiful elements of this mosque is that it has two identical slim minarets, top-covered with lead as the mosque domes and semi-domes. Enjoy the panoramic view of the city from the mosque, where you can see the Giza pyramids on clear days. Feel the relaxation of your soul when you go to Old Coptic Cairo. It is a very sacred and holy area as it contains 14 churches and a Jewish synagogue. The tour starts with a visit to the Hanging Church, one of the most beautiful churches that were built in the 5th century. Consecrated to Virgin Mary, The church was built above one of the towers of the fort of Babylon. It has 110 beautiful icons and once was the seat of the Patriarch. Your guide will explain to you all about the church before moving to the Cavern church or the church of St Sergious and Bacchus. Thousands of visitors come annually to this church to visit the cave where Jesus the baby and Virgin Mary were hiding for 3 months during the journey of escape in Egypt.
