I'd been wanting to take my family to Egypt for many years and finally decided it was time and it was safe. I couldn't have been more right. We felt 100% safe in all our travels so if you've been holding back don't! My first task as always in planning our family summer trips around the World is to find a great local tour company using TripAdvisor. I searched through all the Tour Operators and finally decided on YET (Your Egypt Tours). From the very first email inquiry I sent I received a reply back within hours from Mona Hamdy YET's customer service representative. After that first email and her well written response I knew YET was the right choice for me to plan out a memorable trip to Egypt. Mona answered dozens of emails I sent asking many questions and reviewing lots of options in terms of activities and places to visit. She was instrumental in helping me put together a dream trip. I ended up putting together a 9 day tour of Cairo, Luxor and Hurghada (Red Sea). We spent 2 days in Cairo, 2 days in Luxor and 5 days in Hurghada on the Red Sea. F rom the moment we arrived at Cairo airport we were greeted by YET's representative, Ahmed (I think) and he took care of our immigration forms and customs and speedily got us through. We've traveled to many countries around the world over the past 15 years/summers and this is the first time we've had a representative take care of the immigration paperwork for us and being as exhausted as we were after flying for over 16 years from San Francisco we were so happy to have this service. We absolutely loved our Egyptologist guides Mamdouh in Cairo and Ash in Luxor. They were both incredibly knowledgeable, fun and accommodating any changes we wanted to make and always making sure my family was comfortable and enjoying our experiences. YET also provided us with a cell phone and we could call with any questions or concerns at any time and they would help us which is another amazing service I've never had in any other country. I can't express enough how grateful I am for YET and how awesome they were in communicating with me and putting together a trip of a lifetime. Egypt lived up to my high expectations with it's magnificent history and culture. I was also impressed with how kind and gracious the people of Egypt were to us. We felt very welcomed and I was overwhelmed. Thanks again YET for an incredible and memorable trip of a lifetime. I hope to come back again soon.
