Not enough good words for this 7 day self directed tour. To describe how wonderful this experience was. From the thoughtful attention of Mona in the office to the knowledge of both of our guides, Mamdouh and Ash, this trip was fantastic. We hired YET for 7 days of private tours ( we booked hotels & plane ourselves) and they were beyond what we expected. Polite, adaptable and always thoughtful they made this truly a once in a lifetime experience. This was a big birthday trip for my daughter and we poured over the items we wanted to see. Mona crafted an excellent itinerary. When on the ground, we changed a few items around and there was not a bit of pushback. Attention was given to make sure that we understood the history and background of what we were seeing. Was it flawless, no, but close to it. If you do this type of self-written tour it is up to you to decide where and when, we were lucky that both our guides made good suggestions that we took, and it made the experience even better. One great thing we did that even Mamdouh had not had a chance to see: the Tomb of Mehu--don't miss it. We all loved it! Tip: It is hot there--try not to make your day long, but understand that more than you think can be done in a day. See Dashour, Saqquara and Memphis first--gives a great perspective on Giza. Thank you so much Your Egypt Tours!
