The first place you visit is the fort of Qaitbay. This fort was built in 1262 to protect the city and Sultan Qaitbay restored its tower in 1479. Your Egyptologist guide will explain all the history of the fort. Next stop, you will visit the Rosetta National museum, which is situated in one of the Ottoman houses.
